Writers are readers. They just have to be. It’s the unbreakable connection I teach in my classroom. Readers read other people’s writing, and we write to be read by others.

I’m not an expert book reviewer, but it is my goal to read regularly. Sometimes I struggle with which book to select next; after all, there is a world full of them. My goal here is to simply share with you what I have read, offer a basic summary and perhaps my own thoughts and reflections on what I read.
